Humidity & Climate Control
Every Dymon Self Storage facility is equipped with a patented, state of the art DryGuard humidity & climate control system to protect your valuables. Using a system of continual airflow and multiple sensors throughout the facility, the humidity levels are monitored and maintained at below 50% relative humidity to protect your valuables from moulds, mildew, rust, wood degradation and rot while in storage. In addition to the DryGuard System, the temperature is maintained at a constant rate. Many of our clients have told us that their goods actually came out of storage in better shape than they went in!
We believe that traditional outdoor storage is not enough if you want your valuables back in the same condition that they went in. Without climate control your valuables will be subject to climate dependant temperature variations, which can result in damage from freezing, insects, and rodents. Simple climate control is not enough, as the lack of humidity control can result in damage from the excess moisture, leading to mould, mildew and other undesirable damage to your items.
It is especially important that wood, metal, fabric, paper, and electronic items be stored in a humidity controlled environment. Our climate and humidity controlled environment is ideally suited for a wide range of items including:
